Nature Positive is a global goal that seeks to halt and reverse the loss of nature by 2030, and achieve full recovery of nature by 2050. It is nature’s equivalent to Net Zero climate change targets.

As a goal with increasing relevance to policy, markets and finance, many Australian businesses are seeking to understand what Nature Positive means for them, and for their customers, lenders, investors, suppliers and stakeholders.

The 2024 Nature Positive Business Awareness Survey was conducted by ACBF between May and July 2024, as part of work with national and international partners to bring together leaders from business and civil society prior to the Global Nature Positive Summit in Sydney in October 2024.
